The versatile powers of Chia seeds
A seed that definitely falls under the category of superfoods is chia seed. These seeds come from the flowers of the Salvia Hispanica or the Chia plant. For centuries, both the Maya and the Aztecs used this plant as a medicine. Chia seeds were also eaten during a long journey was made and at many battlegrounds.
